Greece's 'I didn't hear, I didn't see, I don't know' approach towards the problems of the Turkish Minority continues

Friendship Equality Peace (FEP) Party President Çiğdem Asafoğlu, who participated in the Antalya Diplomacy Forum from Western Thrace, was a guest of the Turkish news channel NTV.

Answering the questions of NTV Programme Producer Mete Çubuk, Asafoğlu explained the problems of the Turkish Minority of Western Thrace.

Drawing attention to the fact that the Turkish identity, which is one of the most important problems of the Turkish Minority of Western Thrace, is still not recognised by Greece, Asafoğlu noted that Greece exhibits a political attitude towards the problems of the Turkish Minority with the understanding of 'I have not heard, I have not seen, I do not know'.

Asafoğlu also touched upon the problems experienced in Xanthi Minority Secondary School - High School and stated that as FEP Party they are closely following the issue.

Finally touching upon the activities of the FEP Party, Asafoğlu stated that the FEP Party is a member party of the European Free Alliance (EFA) in the European Parliament, and thus they are trying to bring the problems of the Turkish Minority to the agenda in the European Parliament.
