General Assembly of the Union of Councillors to be held on 18 February
The Association of Western Thrace Minority Schools Councillors Association will hold its General Assembly meeting on Sunday 18 February to determine its new management.
The elections for the Boards of Councillors in the Turkish Minority schools in Western Thrace were held on Wednesday 20 December and new Boards of Councillors were elected.
A general assembly announcement was sent to the newly elected councillors for the General Assembly by the Union of Councillors.
The following statements were made in the announcement sent:
"Dear councillors,
The Ordinary General Assembly Meeting of our Association will be held on Sunday, 11 February 2024, between 11:00 and 15:00 at the premises of the Association in Komotini (Mavromihali 10). If the majority is not met, the General Assembly meeting will be repeated on 18 February 2024 at the same place and time.
