Galatasaray title celebrations light up Western Thrace
In the city of İskeçe and surrounding villages, supporters gathered late into the night to mark the club’s latest triumph with fireworks, convoys, and street celebrations reminiscent of festivities held across Türkiye.
One of the largest celebrations took place in the village of Mustafçova, where fans illuminated the night sky with fireworks following the championship announcement.
Meanwhile, in the nearby village of Sahin, young supporters organized a motorcycle convoy decorated with Galatasaray flags, touring through the village while chanting club slogans and celebrating the victory.
The scenes across İskeçe once again highlighted the strong emotional and cultural connection between the Turkish minority community in Western Thrace and major sporting events in Türkiye.
