Galatasaray supporters in Western Thrace take first step toward forming association
Galatasaray fans living in Western Thrace have begun the process of forming an official supporters’ association. Meetings are planned to bring together fans from İskeçe, Gümülcine, and Dedeağaç.
A statement on the supporters’ social media accounts explained that the initiative has been in preparation for some time, and official steps will now be taken:
“To provide information on the progress of our Galatasaray supporters’ association project, exchange views on the next steps, and officially start the formalization process, we will meet with fans in İskeçe on Friday, October 3, at 6:00 p.m. at the İskeçe Turkish Union Hall, and with fans in Gümülcine and Dedeağaç on Sunday, October 5, at 5:00 p.m. at the Gümülcine Turkish Youth Union Hall.”
The meetings aim to unite Galatasaray supporters across the region under a formal association and strengthen community ties. All fans in Western Thrace are invited to attend.

October 3, 2025, Friday – 18:00: İskeçe Turkish Union Hall
October 5, 2025, Sunday – 17:00: Gümülcine Turkish Youth Union Hall
