The association announced that the campaign aims to raise public awareness about skin cancer prevention and emphasize the life-saving importance of early diagnosis.

Free Dermatoscopic Skin Examinations
According to organizers, volunteer dermatologists will provide free dermatoscopic mole examinations to help identify suspicious skin lesions at an early stage.

The association stressed that skin cancer remains one of the most common forms of cancer worldwide, noting that early detection significantly improves treatment outcomes and survival rates.

The screenings will take place at the association’s headquarters located on Enou Street in Gümülcine.

Screening Schedule
The free examinations will be conducted on the following dates:

May 22 (Friday): 09:30 – 11:30
May 23 (Saturday): 09:00 – 11:00
May 27 (Wednesday): 18:00 – 20:00

Focus on Prevention and Early Detection
Medical experts worldwide continue to stress that public awareness, routine skin checks, and early medical evaluation of suspicious moles or skin changes are among the most effective tools in reducing skin cancer risks.
