Çiğdem Asafoğlu, Chairman of the Friendship, Equality and Peace (FEP) Party, celebrated the day of all women by publishing a message on the occasion of March 8, International Women's Day.

Stating that women are the most effective, directing, unifying and protective element of society, Chairman Asafoğlu emphasized the following in her message.

“March 8, International Women's Day or International Working Women's Day, is an international day celebrated on March 8 every year and defined by the United Nations. It is devoted to the development of political and social awareness of women on the basis of human rights, and the celebration of their economic, political, and social achievements. We know that women are the most effective, directing, unifying and protective element of society. While the advancement of women is a condition of social justice, it is not just a women's issue. This issue is the only way to build a sustainable, just, and developed society and is a prerequisite for achieving political, social, economic, cultural, and environmental security. For a democratic, advanced society, women's empowerment, expanding their fields of activity, education, employment, health, politics, law, etc. It is of great importance that they benefit from equal opportunities and opportunities in the fields. We come from a tradition that believes men and women are two equal halves of a whole. As members of an understanding that embraces justice between the sexes, we believe that men and women will build the earth together in mutual justice and equity, and we strive for this. I sincerely congratulate all women of the world on March 8, International Women's Day, with the hope that our women will be stronger and have a say in every field.”
