EP elections: How many candidates can we put up - When will we know the results?

In Greece, cross-preference voting is used, which gives voters the opportunity to choose specific candidates.
A maximum of four (4) preference marks can be placed.
The candidates with the highest number of preferences can be elected MEPs, provided that their parties have secured the relevant seats.
In order to elect a Member of the European Parliament, political parties must obtain at least 3 per cent of the national vote.
WHEN WILL THE RESULTS BE ANNOUNCED?
According to a statement made to ANT1 by Nassos Balerbas, Secretary General of the Ministry of the Interior, the Ministry of the Interior is expected to announce the first estimate of the outcome of the 2024 European elections at around 21:00 on the night of Sunday 9 June and the final result at 23:00.
The polls will open at 7 a.m. and close at 7 p.m., and the exit poll will be available shortly after the polls close.
Around 20:30 on Sunday evening, 9 June, the first results (about 10 per cent) are expected to be announced.
Official election results can also be followed on the official website of the Ministry of Interior.
The state broadcaster ERT will broadcast the election results live.
In addition, all national television channels are expected to broadcast the election results live.
