East Macedonia Thrace Education Director Kostantinos Bandikos, with a new decision, banned Minority Primary Schools in Rhodope province from taking an early break on Friday.
East Macedonia Thrace Education Director Kostantinos Bandikos, with a new letter he sent to the Rhodope Province First Degree Provincial Education Directorate, banned minority primary schools from taking an early break on Friday and prevented minority students from going to Friday prayers.
Minority primary schools operating in the Rhodope province had an early break on Fridays compared to other days so that students could go to mosques to perform the Friday prayers.
However, since the Minority Primary Schools in Rhodope will stop at the same time five days a week, unfortunately, students will not be able to go to mosques and pray Friday.
