In a written statement, the Democratic Power List, the main opposition party of Kozlukebir Municipality, revealed that the Digital Transformation Project, developed during their term in office, was approved with a budget of 460,000 Euros.

The statement highlighted that the project, aimed at promoting digital transformation, was prepared and submitted on December 23, 2022, during their tenure in the municipality. After an extensive evaluation process, it received approval on May 6, 2025.

Project Aims and Structure
The project aims to align the municipality’s urban infrastructure with the digital age, ensuring more efficient, innovative, and quality services. The project is structured under three main sub-projects:

Sub-Project 1: Consultancy Services for Preparing and Submitting the Proposal

• Developing a digital transformation strategy
• Preparing the project proposal
• Providing consultancy support in the application, evaluation, tendering, and contract processes

Sub-Project 2: Digital Transformation Activities of Kozlukebir Municipality
Actions under this sub-project include:

• Integration of the lighting system with central software
• Digital management of the vehicle fleet and organization with the Movement Office's digital infrastructure
• Smart City Guide to promote local businesses and highlight campaigns
• Smart measurement systems to track water quality in real-time
• Monitoring and maintenance systems for green areas and public spaces
• Electronic systems to digitalize the municipality's management and operational processes

Sub-Project 3: Project Promotion and Communication
Actions under this sub-project include:

• Utilizing traditional and digital media tools to share the project with the public
• Social media campaigns and informative activities

A Technological and Social Advancement
This project is seen as a major technological and social benefit for the region. Despite its approval, the current municipal administration has not yet informed the public, even three days after the approval. The silence on this matter is seen as a serious deficiency in transparency and communication with the public. The Democratic Power List, although in opposition, continues to stand behind the project, which was shaped according to the needs of the local population.
