Demonstration in support of the Palestinian people in Komotini
A demonstration in solidarity with the people of Palestine will be held tomorrow (Saturday, 11 November) by the Union of Private Sector Employees of Komotini and the Rhodope Women's Association. The demonstration, which will be organised in solidarity with the people of Gaza under attack, will start at 12:00 at Komotini city square.
The demonstration will be the second demonstration organised in Komotini in a short time. The same organisations organised a demonstration on Thursday 19 October in Komotini in solidarity with the Palestinian people, which was attended by a large number of people.
In the written statement made on the subject, it was stated that Israel continued to attack and massacre in Gaza, and that the Greek government gave military support to Israel as well as political and diplomatic support, and this policy of the New Democracy Party government was criticised.
