A delegation of academics from the University of Peç in Hungary, who work on political geography, history and minorities in the Balkan countries, visited the Xanthi Turkish Union on Saturday 20 March.
The President of Xanthi Turkish Union Ozan Ahmetoğlu informed the guest delegation about the struggle for the rights of the association and the problems, injustices and demands of the Turkish Minority of Western Thrace.
Cengiz Ömer, Editor-in-Chief of Millet Newspaper and Cemil Kabza, Editor of Millet News, who were also present at the visit, had the opportunity to convey the injustices that Western Thrace Turks are subjected to in various fields.
