Consul General Ünal meets with kinsmen in Yenimahalle
Consul General of Türkiye in Komotini, Aykut Ünal and his entourage performed Friday prayers with the cognates in Yenimahalle on Friday, 5 January.
During his visit to Yenimahalle, Consul General Aykut Ünal was accompanied by İbrahim Şerif, President of the Advisory Board of the Turkish Minority of Western Thrace and Elected Mufti of Komotini, and Vice Consul Barış Çulha.
In the post made on the social media account of the Consulate General of Türkiye in Komotini regarding the visit, the following statements were made: "On the first Friday of the new year, we came together with our compatriots in Komotini New Neighbourhood."
İbrahim Şerif, Mufti of Komotini, said in his post: "Today (5 January 24) we performed the Friday prayer at the Yenimahalle Mosque in Komotini. We gave a talk to the congregation on 'The purpose of our creation'. May Allah accept it."
