Consul General Aykut Ünal visits Şapçı town
Consul General Ünal, together with the Chairman of the Western Thrace Turkish Minority Advisory Board and the Mufti of Komotini, İbrahim Şerif, visited Şapçı on Friday, 27 January, met with kinsmen and performed the Friday prayer at the Çarşı Mosque.
Regarding the visit, the post made on the social media account of the Consulate General of Turkey in Komotini said, "Today, we were guests of our kinsmen in Şapçı."
In his post, Mufti of Komotini İbrahim Şerif said, “Today we performed the Friday prayer at the Çarşı Mosque in Şapçı town. We talked to the congregation about the virtue of three months, may Allah accept it.”
During his visit to Şapçı, Consul General Aykut Ünal, Mufti of Komotini İbrahim Şerif, Şapçı Chairman of the Board of Trustees Dr. Cafer Hafız Mehmet and Şapçı Maronya Deputy Mayor Mustafa Molla Ahmet accompanied him.
