Children rewarded for attending prayers at Şehreküstü Mosque
The program, led by Şehreküstü Mosque Imam Orhan Bülbül, Muezzin Rıdvan Ahmetçik, and the mosque's congregation, successfully concluded its first phase with high participation. Children who joined the prayers were rewarded with gifts.
The program, which kicked off in July with the slogan "We talk to the congregation, we win surprise gifts," allowed children to accumulate points by attending prayers. They earned:
50 points for attending Fajr (dawn) prayer,
10 points for Dhuhr (noon) prayer,
20 points for Maghrib (evening) prayer, and
30 points for Isha (night) prayer.
On the evening of August 6, 2024, after the Maghrib prayer, children who had accumulated 1,500 points throughout July were presented with gifts.
Following the prayer, Imam Orhan Bülbül addressed the congregation, including the children and their parents, to provide information about the program. He shared how the idea for the monthly program during the holiday period came about, the children's enthusiastic participation, and the positive response from parents. He expressed gratitude to everyone involved in making the program a success and for contributing to the rewards.
At the end of the event, gifts were distributed to the children, and a group photo was taken to commemorate the occasion.
