Ceren Ahmet receives honourable mention at the International Children's Painting Olympiad
Ceren Ahmet, a senior student at Celal Bayar High School in Komotini, received an honourable mention at the 2022-2023 International Children's Painting Olympiad held under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture.
The competition was organised by the Children's Gallery of Greece on the occasion of the 180th anniversary of the first official request for the return of the Parthenon sculptures in the Acropolis of Athens by the poet-writer and diplomat Alexander Rizos Ragavis.
Children between the ages of 4 and 18 from Greece and 30 countries outside Greece participated in the competition.
The Board of Councillors of Celal Bayar Minority Secondary School - High School in Komotini and the school administration congratulated Ceren Ahmet for her success in the competition.
The award ceremony took place on 15 September at the Kapodistria University ceremonial hall in Athens.
