Elif Mustafa, a 2nd-grade student from Celal Bayar Minority High School, delivered a speech during the "Youth Parliament" session held in Athens, Greece, from July 1st to 4th, 2024.

The school management congratulated Elif Mustafa through an official statement, acknowledging her representation of the school as a youth delegate. The session's theme was "We Participate, We Discuss, We Collaborate," and Elif Mustafa shared her reflections on the experience, saying:

"It was an unforgettable and unique experience for all of us. We had the opportunity to learn about how parliament functions and its connection to democracy. We posed questions to members of the Cabinet and had a personal discussion with the Minister of Education, Kyriakos Pierrakakis. We also participated in theater performances and enjoyed a concert by EKPA Music Odyssey. We felt like one big family and formed many new friendships."

Gümülcine Celal Bayar Minority High School Principal Yücel İsmail expressed pride in Elif Mustafa for representing her school and the region of Rodopi. He emphasized the importance of continuing such initiatives to foster youth participation and development.

Vice Principal Polihronia Lakaki highlighted that participating in programs like these helps students gain valuable experiences that promote socialization and strengthen democratic thinking. She encouraged other students to follow in Elif Mustafa’s footsteps, representing their school and community at such prestigious events.
