Caner Imam requests the extension of the state of emergency for the Susurköy Region

Yassıköy Mayor Imam asked Triantopoulos, Deputy Minister of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection, to extend the state of emergency for Susurkoy District.
Caner Imam, Mayor of Yassıköy, held a meeting with Christos Triantopoulos, Deputy Minister of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection, via video conference.
During the meeting, mayor Imam, who conveyed the problems caused by the fires in 2023, asked Deputy Minister Triantopoulos to extend the state of emergency for the Susurkoy Region.
The mayor said that he also raised the issue of financial assistance for farmers affected by the fire, and that Triantopoulos said that he would be interested in resolving the issues and would like to visit Yassıköy municipality as soon as possible.
