Call for "equality" from ABTTF
In a statement published by the European Western Turkey Turkish Federation, it was emphasized that the Western Thrace Turks should not be excluded in the works to be carried out by the Thrace Development Organization, which was established a few days ago. ABTTF called for all work to be done in accordance with the principle of equality.
In the statement, it was stated that Turkish producers, investors, operators and businessmen from Western Thrace should not be excluded from these development studies and work.

"In the statement made by the Eastern Macedonia-Thrace State (DMTE) Presidency, it was reported that the East Macedonia and Thrace Development Organization was established.
In the statement, it was stated that the organization was established with the approval of the DMTE Economic Commission and the DMTE Regional Development Fund Board of Directors.
The aim of the East Macedonia and Thrace Development Organization, headquartered in Komotini, is to provide scientific, technical and consultancy support to DMTE and local units in the preparation of studies such as improving public services for the implementation of development policy in all areas under their jurisdiction, and the management of European Union (EU) programs.
Especially in our region, which has serious economic problems as a result of the negative effects of the Vovid-19 pandemic, it is of great importance that the development policy be implemented immediately and that everyone is treated equally.
At this point, the Western Thrace Turkish society must be taken into account in all the studies to be carried out on the implementation of the development policy in our region by the newly established East Macedonia and Thrace Development Organization.
