Büyük derbent people enjoy the iftar dinner
On the evening of Friday, March 31, there was an enthusiasm for iftar in Büyük Derbent village of Meriç province of Western Thrace.
Türkiye's Consul General to Komotini Aykut Unal, Western Thrace Turkish Minority Advisory Board Chairman and Mufti of Komotini Ibrahim Serif, Vice Consul Barış Çulha, FEP Party Deputy Chairman Metin Haciosman, Komotini Turkish Youth Union President Sedat Hasan and many guests were invited to the mass iftar party in the village of Büyük Derbent.
Head of the Western Thrace Turkish Minority Advisory Board and Mufti of Komotini, İbrahim Şerif, said in his social media account regarding the iftar in Derbent village, “We spent the last day of the blessed month of Ramadan with our brothers in Büyük Derbent village of Evros (Meriç) province. We would like to thank our brothers who invited us and hosted us at their tables.”
