BTTADK President and Xanthi Mufti Mustafa Trampa issues Eid Message
The President of the Advisory Board of the Western Thrace Turkish Minority (BTTADK) and Mufti of Xanthi, Mustafa Trampa, has released a message on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.
In his statement, Mufti Trampa expressed gratitude to Allah for allowing Muslims to reach another Eid and emphasized the spiritual significance of Ramadan. He highlighted the joy of celebrating Eid while also bidding farewell to the blessed month of Ramadan, a time of devotion, self-discipline, and reflection.
Addressing the Muslim community, Trampa outlined the virtues gained through Ramadan, urging believers to carry these values forward throughout the year. He noted that fasting fosters consciousness of servitude to God, patience, gratitude, and moral refinement. Additionally, he emphasized the role of fasting in promoting social solidarity by reminding the privileged of the hardships faced by the less fortunate.
Trampa also underscored the importance of family bonds and community ties during Eid, encouraging Muslims to spread joy by visiting relatives, reconciling differences, and bringing happiness to children, the elderly, and the sick.
He concluded his message with a prayer for peace, unity, and prosperity, wishing the Western Thrace Muslim Turkish community, the Islamic world, and all of humanity a blessed and joyous Eid al-Fitr.
