Bluefarm, the agricultural company owned by Western Thrace businessman Levent Sadık Ahmet, hosted a promotional event to present its agricultural investments to members of the Turkish press. The program, held at the Yaka Cherry Facility and the Bluefarm Blueberry Farm, brought together business leaders, local officials, and approximately 30 journalists from Türkiye.

Addressing participants, Levent Sadık Ahmet provided an overview of the facility’s production capacity, export activities, and contribution to the regional economy. He noted that recent investments have accelerated the adoption of modern agricultural practices and stated that Bluefarm has rapidly become a significant player in blueberry production.

One of the key highlights of the event was the announcement of a new partnership between Bluefarm and Queen Berry, a company established by women entrepreneurs. Sadık Ahmet said the collaboration is expected to increase production capacity while also providing meaningful support for female entrepreneurship.

Following the presentations, guests toured the Yaka Cherry Facility, where they observed product processing, storage, and packaging operations. Company representatives emphasized that nearly 90 percent of the facility’s workforce consists of women, underlining the company's commitment to female employment.

The second part of the program took place at the Bluefarm Blueberry Farm. Located on a 130-decare site, the farm is home to approximately 45,000 blueberry plants cultivated by specialized agricultural teams. Participants received detailed information about harvesting operations, product quality standards, and the export potential of blueberries.

Speaking during the event, Turkish Consul General Aykut Ünal highlighted the importance of investments that contribute to production, employment, and exports, stressing that modern agricultural initiatives play a vital role in the region’s economic development.

Bluefarm officials stated that the company aims to further expand blueberry production in the coming years and reaffirmed their commitment to supporting the advancement of modern agriculture in Western Thrace.

The company also announced plans to introduce its newly established 200-decare blueberry facility in İpsala, Türkiye. The investment forms part of Bluefarm’s broader strategy to expand its agricultural operations in both Türkiye and Western Thrace.
