Blessed iftar gathering held in Mastanlı Neighborhood
A large iftar gathering took place in the Mastanlı neighborhood of Komotini, where locals and visitors from surrounding villages came together to break their fast. The event, jointly organized by the KÖPRÜ Association and Kırmahalle Sports Club, received great interest from the Turkish minority community.
Held on the occasion of Laylat al-Qadr on Wednesday, March 26, the iftar program was made possible through the support of the neighborhood residents and the dedicated efforts of young volunteers. The streets of Mastanlı were filled with carefully prepared tables, where thousands of guests gathered to break their fast at the call to prayer. The iftar prayer was led by Komotini Mufti İbrahim Şerif.
Following the meal, attendees performed the Maghrib prayer together at the local mosque. The evening continued with warm conversations in the neighborhood cafés until the Isha prayer, reinforcing a sense of unity and togetherness.
This meaningful gathering strengthened the spirit of solidarity and brought the spiritual essence of Ramadan to every corner of Komotini.
