Ali Salihoğlu sent off to eternity whose death caused great sorrow
Ali Salihoğlu, who passed away at a young age (33), the day of the Western Thrace Turks' national resistance on January 29, and who caused a great sorrow amongst the Western Thrace Turks, is a member of the Xanthi Turkish Union Board of Directors and FEP Party VQA, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Inhanlı Village, from all corners of Western Thrace. He was buried in Inhanlı village of Xanthi with a great participation, after the funeral prayer held on Monday, January 30, 2023, following the afternoon prayer.
At the funeral, Mufti of Xanthi Mustafa Trampa, Xanthi Turkish Union President Ozan Ahmetoğlu and FEP Party former Chairman Mustafa Ali Çavuş took the floor and expressed their feelings and thoughts about Ali Salihoğlu and expressed their condolences to the family. İbrahim Şerif, Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Western Thrace Turkish Minority and Mufti of Komotini, who was present at the funeral. Mustafa Trampa, Mufti of Xanthi, led the funeral prayer.
At the funeral of Deputy Attaché of Türkiye Güven Bora, representing the Consulate General of Komotini, Ramadan Duban and İsmail Dikme, administrative officers of the Consulate General, were present. The funeral ceremony was attended by Mufti of Xanthi Mustafa Trampa, Chairman of the Western Thrace Turkish Minority Advisory Board and Mufti of Komotini İbrahim Şerif, Xanthi Deputies Hüseyin Zeybek and Burhan Baran, Deputy Mayor of İnhanlı Sunay Hüseyinoğlu, Municipality opposition list heads Cemil Kabza and Ahmet Kurt, Xanthi Turkish Union President Ozan Ahmetoğlu, Western Thrace Minority Graduates Association President Hüseyin Baltacı, Çınar Association President Cengiz Ömer, Western Thrace Turkish Teachers Union President Aydın Ahmet, Komotini Turkish Youth Union President Sedat Hasan, FEP Party former President Mustafa Ali Çavuş, FEP Party vice-president Bahri Belço, teachers, association administrators, religious officials, Western Thrace Turkish Minority Press and hundreds of kinsmen from the surrounding villages joined Ali Salihoğlu's funeral and made the last duty for him.
