Mustafçova Mayor Candidate Ahmet Kurt opened his election office in Dolaphan village after the consultation meeting he organised in Elisso hotel in Xanthi.

Ahmet Kurt, Mayor Candidate for Mustafçova Municipality in Xanthi and President of the Great Unity Brotherhood Movement, held the opening of the election office and candidate presentation meeting of his list on Tuesday evening, 12 September, in Dolaphan, the centre of the municipality.

Introducing the candidates in his team, Ahmet Kurt emphasised in his speech that they do not see any of their rivals as enemies and that the campaign they will run will be in an atmosphere of brotherhood.

In his speech, Kurt said, "We do not fight with any list chairman for the sake of political ambition. This is what we will do during the campaign where we will explain our projects. This is not a war, but a race in which our nation will win. We said that your village is our village, we did not see any village as our fortress, we said that each of our people is our brother. We did not and will not see our rivals as enemies. Our campaign will pass in an atmosphere of brotherhood."

Stating that they will use their right to criticise the administration, Ahmet Kurt added that they will act with courtesy while doing so. Kurt said, "So are we not going to criticise at all? The rule of democracy is solutions produced on the grounds of criticism. We will criticise the issues we see wrong in courtesy, without insulting or slandering."

Afterwards, the candidates on the list came to the stage one by one and introduced themselves.
