According to media reports, during a meeting with ministry officials on Tuesday, November 26, Tsiaras requested the resignation of Babasidis and two deputy presidents.
The decision is reportedly linked to an investigation initiated by the European Union's Agricultural Commission into irregularities in the country’s agricultural subsidy payments.
