ABTTF Presidency Board completed its year-end visits
The Federation of Western Thrace Turks in Europe (ABTTF) has completed its traditional year-end visits.
The ABTTF Presidency Board, which could not visit its member associations for two years due to the pandemic, made its traditional year-end visits in 2022 and met with member association managers.
ABTTF Presidency Board evaluated the developments concerning Western Thrace Turkish society with its member associations.
The presidency board evaluated the year 2022, evaluated the current developments in Greece with the managers of the association.
ABTTF Presidency Board gave information about the activities of the Federation in 2022 and conveyed the work plan for 2023 to the managers and members of the association.
ABTTF executives stated that they will continue to support and contribute to the events that member associations will organize on important national, cultural and religious days and months in 2023.
ABTTF President Halit Habipoğlu said the following about the visits:
“We had the opportunity to meet face to face, consult and discuss some issues together in a friendly environment. Three issues came to the fore in our discussions. We evaluated many issues and in more detailed minority education, job migration and our contacts in Athens. We exchanged ideas on the developments in these three issues, existing problems and solutions. We held useful and productive meetings. We are ready for 2023.” said.
