A new car park opened in Xanthi

The private car park, which was put into service under the name Parking Xanthi, is located at the main entrance of the market place of Xanthi on the Down Town.

Niyazi Niyazi Oğlu, the operator of the new car park, made a statement to our newspaper about the car park he put into service: "We all see the problems experienced in terms of parking services especially in the areas close to the city centre. I have seen that the vehicles have parking problems due to the density on Saturdays and at the beginning of the week. Especially during the summer holiday period, Xanthi Carnival and Old Town events, there is a serious need for parking. Based on all these, I wanted to use this land at the entrance of the market place as a car park for many years. I met with the landowners and rented the place and after completing the necessary official procedures, I made the necessary arrangements as a car park and put it into service a few days ago. While I hope that it will be a good source of income for us, I think that it will make a significant contribution to the parking problem in our city."
