Organization of Turkic States Heads of State Council Meet in Samarkand
The 9th Summit of Heads of State of the Organization of Turkish States was held in the historical city of Samarkand, Uzbekistan.
Before the 9th Summit of Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States (TDT), held in Samarkand with the theme of "New Era for Turkish Civilization: Towards Common Development and Prosperity" hosted by the President of Uzbekistan, Şevket Mirziyoyev, the leaders came together for a family photo.
In the family photo taken at the Congress Center, President of Türkiye Erdogan, President of Uzbekistan Mirziyoyev, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, President of Kazakhstan Kasım Cömert Tokayev and President of Kyrgyzstan Sadir Japarov with observer countries Turkmenistan National Council of People's Affairs Head, former President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban took part.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan was awarded the "Turkish World Ali Badge" for his services to the Turkish world at the 9th Summit of the Organization of Turkish States in Samarkand. In his statement at the ceremony, Erdoğan said, “I would like to thank everyone who has helped our organization reach this level, which is the product of our joint efforts and devotion.”. In the opening speech of the summit, “We are striving to end the 9-month conflict in Ukraine with a just peace, and we are taking the necessary interventions to prevent the food crisis.” he said.
