Greece is stepping up electronic vehicle checks targeting uninsured cars, vehicles without valid KTEO inspections and those illegally driven despite being declared off the road. Repeat offenders using immobilised vehicles face fines of up to €30,000 and a potential three-year driving licence suspension.
