Selen Erdem appointed head coach of PAS Giannina
Selen Erdem, one of the prominent figures in Turkish basketball, has taken on the role of head coach for PAS Giannina Women’s Basketball Team, marking an exciting development in the sports world.
The Greek Women’s Basketball Super League team announced the collaboration through their social media accounts, stating:
“The PAS Giannina Basketball Board of Directors is pleased to announce the start of our partnership with Turkish-born head coach Selen Erdem.”
Erdem's impressive career includes serving as an assistant coach for the Turkish National Team between 2014 and 2019, during which she contributed to the team's participation in the Rio Olympics, the FIBA World Cup, and two European Championships.
The announcement emphasized her recognition as one of Europe’s distinguished basketball coaches.
