Hayrettin İmam Efendi from Western Thrace invited to Fenerbahçe U15 team
Fenerbahçe Sports Club's Scouting Committee has selected Hayrettin İmam Efendi, a young talent from Western Thrace, to join the U15 team for training sessions at the club’s Dereağzı facilities in Istanbul.
TALENT SPOTTED IN LOCAL TRIALS
The selection took place during trials organized by the Western Thrace Fenerbahçe Sports and Culture Association on April 26–27 at the village football field in Çepelli. The event drew approximately 30 young players aged between 15 and 19, all aiming to showcase their skills in front of Fenerbahçe scouts. Hayrettin, who hails from the city of Xanthi (İskeçe), stood out for his impressive performance and earned an invitation to continue training with the team.
OPPORTUNITY FOR FUTURE PARTICIPATION
In a statement, the Western Thrace Fenerbahçe Association confirmed that Hayrettin is expected to take part in training sessions with the U15 team, where coaches will observe and evaluate him closely. The current U15 team is set to compete in the Turkish national finals from April 30 to May 3 in Kuşadası. Following the conclusion of the season, the coaching staff plans to invite Hayrettin to rejoin the squad at the start of the next season.
