25 finalists revealed for 2024 Golden Boy
The top 25 finalists for the Golden Boy Award were revealed Thursday.
Two Turkish players, Arda Güler and Kenan Yıldız, were among the finalists for the 2024 edition.
The 25-man final shortlist features super-talents like Barcelona's Lamine Yamal, Real Madrid’s Endrick and Paris Saint-Germain’s Warren Zaire-Emery.
Real Madrid midfielder June Bellingham was the winner of the 2023 edition.
Established in 2003, the Golden Boy Award is presented each year by the Italian newspaper Tuttosport to the best Under 21 player from a European team.
The first Golden Boy winner was former Dutch midfielder Rafael van der Vaart, who was a 2010 FIFA World Cup silver medalist.
Van der Vaart bagged the prestigious award as an Ajax player in 2003.
The winner will be announced Dec. 16 at a prestigious gala event in Turin, Italy.
