The raid by Israeli forces on the city of Jenin protested in Greece
The raids and attacks organised by Israeli forces on the city of Jenin in the north of the occupied West Bank were protested in front of the Israeli Embassy in Athens, the capital of Greece.
The crowd gathered in front of the Israeli Embassy, demonstrated in support of the Palestinian people in Jenin and condemned the Israeli attack.
The demonstration, which was attended by Palestinians living in Athens as well as leftist Greek organisations, demanded an end to the hostile attitude towards the Palestinian people and the occupation of the West Bank.
The attacks launched by Israel against the occupied West Bank city of Jenin on 3 July and continued for about 48 hours caused great destruction in the region.
In the attacks, 12 Palestinians, including 4 children, lost their lives and about 120 people were injured, 20 of them seriously.
