New SMS service to notify lawyers of court dates and decisions

A new text message service notifying lawyers of trial dates and court decisions in civil and small-claims cases officially launched on Monday, the Justice Ministry announced.

The service, developed in cooperation with the Plenary of Bar Associations, applies to courts that have implemented the Comprehensive System for Managing Civil and Criminal Cases (OSDDYPP).

According to the ministry, the OSDDYPP platform will be fully installed in all courts across Greece by June 2026, eventually including all legal professionals nationwide.

“The Justice Ministry continues the digital transformation of the justice system, advancing the creation and upgrade of services that support both lawyers and citizens,” the announcement said.
