A large-scale police operation by the Directorate for Combating Organised Crime (DAOE) got underway early on Tuesday morning to dismantle a criminal organisation.
A large-scale police operation by the Directorate for Combating Organised Crime (DAOE) got underway early on Tuesday morning to dismantle a criminal organisation whose members, using special illegal software they had installed at gas stations, were deceiving citizens by delivering less fuel than indicated.
As announced by the Greek police, more than 30 searches are being carried out simultaneously at gas stations, companies and homes in areas of Attica, Thessaloniki, Central Greece, Thessaly, Central Macedonia, as well as Eastern Macedonia and Thrace.
