Greek passports can now be added to Gov.gr Wallet app

Greek passports can now be added to the latest version of the Gov.gr Wallet app, allowing holders of valid ordinary Greek passports to store the document within the application.

The new service enables the passport to be used both for identification purposes and as a travel document within Greece, further enhancing the ecosystem of public-sector digital services.

The functionality applies exclusively to valid ordinary Greek passports. Official and diplomatic passports are excluded, as they fall under the responsibility of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Citizens can install or update the Gov.gr Wallet application via the wallet.gov.gr platform on Android and iOS devices in order to add their passport to their available digital documents.
