Gravanis raises the issue of bad landscapes in the Fener area

The leader of the main opposition in the Municipality of Komotini, Antonis Gravanis, head of the KOMOTINI DINATA list, continues to criticise the government.

This time Gravanis sent a written statement to the press with the images of the old, broken benches, the fountain, the boat exhibited for decoration etc. in the seating areas in the Fener area and stated that the area was forgotten by the mayor Yannis Garanis and his administration.

Accusing the administration of Yannis Garanis of incompetence and indifference, Gravanis stated that the last state of "the area which should be a jewel for the Municipality of Komotini, Thrace and Greece" is dramatic.

Criticising the municipal administration, main opposition leader Gravanis said: "The full responsibility for this shameful situation belongs to Mayor Yannis Garanis together with Deputy Mayor Levent Ismail in charge of Cleanliness and Deputy Mayor Petros Zografu in charge of Tourism."

Gravanis, who also paid attention to the summer season, stated that the images in the region are unacceptable in this period when summer tourism starts.
