The forest fire on Mount Parnitha in the Attiki region spread to the national forest area.

The fire that broke out in the morning hours of the previous day in the Fyli region at the foot of Mount Parnitha caused great damage in the residential area of Agia Paraskevi, while many houses were rendered unusable.
While the aerial and ground intervention to the fire continued, the fire in Aya Paraskevi was brought under control and extinguished. While it is stated that the fire, which reached the national forest area, was intervened by 8 aircraft and 9 helicopters, it is estimated that the fire will be brought under control with the decrease in wind speed today.
