European tour on donkey's back!
Two tourists, one German and the other French, went on a European tour with their donkeys. Two adventurers from two different countries reached Xanthi as part of their European tour on donkeys. The two adventurers, who attracted the attention of the Xanthiers, also met with Deputy Head of State Kostas Kurtidis.
Speaking to Xanthipost.gr, the two tourists met by chance in Budapest, the capital of Hungary, within the framework of the tour they went on without knowing each other.
German Mikael set off for a European tour with his donkey 21 months ago from Germany. After the Czech Republic and Slovakia, it reached Budapest. Here he met French Cindy, who had set off with her own donkey about 26 months ago.
The two adventurers decided to continue their next journey together. Together with their donkeys and Cindy's dog, the duo reached Romania and Bulgaria, and then Greece, respectively.
After a two-day break in Xanthi, two tourists declared that they wanted to continue their travels by going to Turkey.
When Miakael and Cindy realized that they could not enter Turkey with their livestock, they turned their route to Albania.
The two adventurers left the city for a European tour after Xanthi, for Kavala, Thessaloniki and then Albania.
