Four of the five people on board a Frontex vessel that sank under as yet unclear circumstances in the sea area off Kastellorizo were taken to Rhodes island hospital.
Four of the five people on board a Frontex vessel that sank under as yet unclear circumstances in the sea area off Kastellorizo were taken to Rhodes island hospital.
Among the passengers were the Estonian Ambassador, three other Estonian nationals and a Hellenic Coast Guard officer serving as Frontex liaison in Greece. The five people rescued from the sea were picked up by a Coast Guard vessel and a private catamaran and were initially taken to the Kastellorizo Health Centre.
Four of the passengers were airlifted by a Hellenic Air Force Super Puma helicopter to Rhodes hospital, where they will be examined by doctors.
