EOF warns of ashwagandha contaminated with heroin

The Greek agency for pharmaceuticals, EOF, issued an announcement on Tuesday warning consumers that the product KSM-66 Ashwagandh acontains opioid drugs and specifically heroin of unknown concentration.

The Greek agency for pharmaceuticals, EOF, issued an announcement on Tuesday warning consumers that the product KSM-66 Ashwagandha of the Medicine Garden company which is marketed in Europe, and therefore is possibly also distributed in Greece, as well as through the internet as a dietary supplement, contains opioid drugs and specifically heroin of unknown concentration.

Consumers are advised not to use the product if it comes into their possession and should immediately inform EOF.
