The intense cold front (called Coral) will continue to affect Greece and the wider region of southeastern Europe and the eastern Mediterranean until Monday, according to the Update of the Emergency Weather Deterioration Report issued by the Ministry of the Environment, which classifies the phenomenon in the orange warning indicator. At the same time, stormy northerly winds reaching up to 8 on the Beaufort scale will prevail locally in the Aegean and there will be local snowfalls, generally light, in the eastern mainland, the Aegean islands and Crete.

Temperatures will reach on Thursday, in Macedonia, Thrace, Thessaly and the islands of Northern Aegean 08C. In the central and eastern Sterea, the island of Evia and the eastern Peloponnese 09C.

On Friday temperatures will range: in Thrace and Macedonia from -07C to 07C. In Thessaly, the islands of northern Aegean, central and eastern Sterea, eastern Peloponnese and in Evia from-02C to 09C. On

Saturday, temperatures will range in Macedonia, Thrace and the islands of northern Aegean from -05C to 06C and in Thessaly, central and eastern Sterea, eastern Peloponnese and Evia island from -03C to 08C.
