18-year-old arrested in father’s killing on Leros
According to authorities, the incident occurred on Thursday, February 26, 2026. Investigators determined that a heated argument between the father and son escalated into a physical confrontation at the auto repair workshop they reportedly operated together.
Fatal Blow During Argument
Police said the suspect threw a heavy object at his father during the fight, striking him in the head. The 50-year-old man died as a result of the injuries sustained.
The 18-year-old was taken into custody and has reportedly confessed to the act during questioning.
Prosecutorial Proceedings Underway
The suspect is expected to be transferred to the Public Prosecutor’s Office in Kos for further legal proceedings.
Greek authorities confirmed that the investigation remains ongoing.
