A new study is under way in Greece, Italy and Spain as part of the “AFROEQUALITY” project: “Empowering people of African Descent: Hate Speech, Violence and Racism, Training on Digital Skills and Civic Participation.”

A new study is under way in Greece, Italy and Spain as part of the “AFROEQUALITYproject: “Empowering people of African Descent: Hate Speech, Violence and Racism, Training on Digital Skills and Civic Participation.”

Funded by the EU under the Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values Program, the project, led by Liza Tsaliki from the University of Athens, aims to address issues of Afrophobia, racial discrimination, and to strengthen the inclusion of African cultures in these countries.

Key activities include research on incidents of racial violence and partnerships with African communities. The project’s partners include CESIE (Italy), InStrategies (Spain), SCI-Hellas, and Convergence (Greece).
