Abu Dhabi energy giant Masdar intends to expand further in Greece as well as the broader Southeastern European region using as its vehicle Terna Energy, the Greek company it added to its global portfolio last year.
Abu Dhabi energy giant Masdar intends to expand further in Greece as well as the broader Southeastern European region using as its vehicle Terna Energy, the Greek company it added to its global portfolio last year.
Masdar, owner of the emblematic Al Dhafra Solar PV at the United Arab Emirates, admitted Terna Energy’s acquisition was also meant to expand the group in Bulgaria, Serbia, Montenegro and Albania.
Chief Operating Officer Abdulaziz Alobaidli said last week in Abu Dhabi that ‘thanks to the Terna Energy know-how we shall expand to neighboring countries,’ stressing also the growth potential in Greece.
