EFET recalls white and brown sugar batches

The Hellenic Food Authority (EFET) is recalling batches of white granulated sugar and brown cane sugar from the market. 

Following an investigation by EFET’s Central Macedonia Directorate, reports confirmed the presence of small white plastic particles in products branded as “Royal Sugar,” sold in 1 kg paper packaging.

Inspections are ongoing, and consumers who have purchased these products are advised not to consume them.
