MP Turan's open call to the Greek administration

According to canakkaledemokrat.com, Çanakkale MP and AK Party Group Deputy Chairman Lawyer Bülent Turan made an open call to the Greek administration.

"In 2013, we opened a Greek Primary School in Gökçeada for two Greek students. At the point reached today, nearly 60 Greek students are studying in schools."

"We expect the same sensitivity from the Greek administration"
Stating that they expect the same sensitivity from Greece, Turan continued his speech as follows: "In addition to primary school, we have opened middle and high school departments. We expect the same sensitivity from the Greek administration.  Unfortunately, Turkish Minority Schools are being closed in Western Thrace.

"Should we call our Greek compatriots Christian Turks?"
In addition, the other paradigm is that the Greek administration, in clear violation of the Lausanne Treaty, makes a strange definition of the Western Thrace Turks as "They are not Greek Muslim Turks". What do you mean by Muslim Greeks? Should we then call our Greek compatriots here Christian Turks? But we are a big state, we won't. I am calling out to the Greek authorities from Gökçeada. Come and see how we treat our Greek citizens in Gökçeada. We expect you to treat the Turks in Western Thrace in the same way."
