'Journey to the Balkans' radio program starts on January 4

TRT announced the launching of a new program for the Balkans.

The program called "Journey to the Balkans" will be broadcast on TRT Türkiye'nin Sesi Radio once a week.

The program, which will start at 16:05 Turkish time on Wednesdays (15:05 Greek time), will cover the past and present situation of the Turkish presence in the Balkans, the architectural and cultural richness and social heritage left behind by the Ottomans.

The program will include the legal status of the Balkan Turks, non-governmental organizations, foundations, traditions, customs, music, literature and art that are still alive today.

Produced by Kadriye Şenel, hosted by Yasemin Pamukçu, and supervised by Metin Edirneli, its permanent guests are Prof. Dr. Ayşe Kayapınar and Prof. Dr. Mehmet Zeki İbrahimgil's "Journey to the Balkans" will be broadcast on TRT Türkiye'nin Sesi Radio every Wednesday, starting from January 4, 2023, at 16:05 (Turkish time).
