FEP Party issues condolence and get-well message after deadly fire in Gebecili

The Friendship, Equality and Peace Party (FEP) has issued a condolence and get-well message following a tragic house fire in the village of Gebecili, under the jurisdiction of the Yassıköy Municipality in the Rodopi regional unit, which claimed the life of a 7-year-old child.

In a statement published on the party’s official social media account, FEP expressed deep sorrow over the loss of the young child and extended wishes for a speedy recovery to the injured father and the other child who was wounded in the same incident.

“Today, we are experiencing the profound pain of losing our 7-year-old child as a result of a house fire in our village of Gebecili,” the statement said. “We pray for God’s swift healing for the father and our other child who were injured in the same incident and are currently receiving medical treatment. Our prayers are with our brothers as they recover and return to their families as soon as possible.”

The party also conveyed its condolences to the bereaved family and the local community.

“We pray for God’s mercy upon the young child who lost his life and extend our patience and condolences to the grieving family, relatives, and all the people of Gebecili. As the Turkish Minority of Western Thrace, our pain is shared,” the statement concluded.
