Dead Greek citizen skier in Bulgaria

A Greek citizen skier who was swept away by an avalanche at the Borovets ski resort in Bulgaria was found dead on Monday, Bulgarian media reported.

A search and rescue operation had been set up to locate him, with the participation of 10 rescuers, four specially trained dogs and volunteers.

Unfortunately, however, he was found dead in the Markujik 3 area, according to the Mountain Rescue Service.

Along with the unfortunate man were three other Greek skiers, who were pulled out alive.
